AFS Diversifies – Structural Steel
The COVID pandemic challenges in 2020 saw AFS diversify and offer new services
With a wealth of businesses and industries facing an uncertain future at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, AFS chose not to sit back and wait to see what would unfold.
AFS immediately explored the concept of diversifying the business. This in turn lead to developing a new growth strategy to expand services which would enable AFS to branch out into new markets and industries. With having a vast supply chain and stock of steel AFS made the decision to broaden its market and offer structural steel to both the building/construction industry and the general public.
Having heavily invested in a marketing campaign with adverts on HEART and Suffolk radio, 2000 leaflets and developing a database of potential clients AFS has already had great feedback and orders prior to the official launch of extended service.
