AFS apprenticeship support

18 Months ago AFS was approached by East Coast College about a young man whom had recently been made redundant with only 4 months left of his apprenticeship to run.

The Directors made an on the spot decision to facilitate his final 4 months and finish his training for the duration at our Lowestoft fabrication shop.

During his first 10 weeks Connor impressed all with his work ethic and his efforts to succeed, so the decision was made to create a place for Connor on our training programme.

18 months later and Connor has just completed his second trip offshore as a coded welder and is truly an asset to AFS and both our Fabrication and offshore teams.
